Let the Voting Begin

Well, it’s official, early voting has begun.

But this is definitely far from over and I invite everyone who’s registered to vote to please do  so.  One of the biggest mistakes we commit is to openly complain about how unhappy we are but when it comes time to make a decision we do nothing.  I want all of you who are unhappy with the direction Potter County is headed to vote for me.  My opponents supporters claim it’s not up to Scott Brumley to lower taxes.  That’s just not true.  You’re either a part of the problem or you’re a part of the solution.  This is not an easy fix but it can be done.

During the next few weeks we’ll all continue to live our lives and go about our daily routines, I understand all this.  The decision to run for Potter County Attorney is one of the biggest of my life and I don’t take it lightly.  If you have any questions about my campaign please email me or call me.

Tonight at 7 the Amarillo Tea Party Patriots are hosting a Candidate Forum and everyone’s invited. I hope to see you all there and if you’re looking for a polling place just click here.

Thank You,

– Len Walker

Good Monday…

The pressure is on.  Early Voting begins Tuesday and all the hard work we’ve put in is coming to a head.  I’d like to thank all of you for the support.  As we move forward I’m very confident that Potter County Citizens will make the right decision.

Of course we’re still a few weeks away from Election Day and in that time I expect my opponent to make a very strong push to keep his grip on the office.  My hope is everyone understands that Scott Brumley is not fit to represent us.

I hope everyone has a good night and Don’t Forget to Vote for Len Walker as Potter County Attorney!!

Finally Friday

It’s Finally Friday!!

I say that but, I know it’s going to be a long weekend.  Early voting is Tuesday so I’ll be out this weekend knocking on doors trying to get every last vote I can.  Of course I wouldn’t be able to do any of it without all my friends and family.

Because Sunday is Valentines Day, I’d like to publicly thank my number one fan… My Wonderful Wife Tracey.  She’s been by my side for more than 26 years now and it’s been one heck of a ride.  If you’ve ever run for office you know just how challenging it can be for your spouse.  From the time we decided to run for office Tracey has been walking from sun up to sun down, handing out push cards or putting up signs in peoples yards and businesses.  She never complains, even when her feet hurt from walking all day or when she gets turned away at doors.

Either way this thing turns out I’ll know I gave it all I have and at the end of the day the only thing that matters is that Tracey will alway be there to pat my back.

Happy Friday Everyone!

I Support Gun Rights, Brumley Does Not

I’m doing my homework a little early today as I get ready for tonights forum.  Early Voting is on Tuesday so I strongly invite each and everyone of you to come out tonight to the League of Women Voters.  It’s at the Amarillo College Campus in Downtown Amarillo. Here’s a little more info for you.

A lot of different issues will be talked about tonight but there’s one particular issue that’s been brushed under the rug.  And it has to do with your Second Amendment Rights.  Several weeks ago Scott Brumley decided to restrict your rights and that’s not right.  He’s even opposed Texas Governor Greg Abbotts decision to allow you To Carry a Firearm.  This is just another reason why this man can no longer continue to fill the role as Potter County Attorney.  He’s suppose to stand up for the rights of every citizen in Potter County and he’s doing the opposite.

I’ll always defend your Second Amendment Rights.

I wish all of you a Great Thursday and if you live and pay taxes in Potter County like me and my family do… then you need to set aside some time tonight and I’ll see you there.

Thank You

The sun sure was shining today and I’m pretty sure everybody who has a motorcycle like me was out riding.  You just can’t ask for better weather in February.  So, people can say what they want about Amarillo but I love it because of days like this.

With everyday that goes by I can’t help but think about everybody that’s taken the time to message me with words of encouragement or showed their support by allowing me to post my campaign signs on their yards or businesses.  And while I’m thanking everybody for all their support, I’m also asking all of you to help me finish this race.  Just like every vote counts so does every penny.  This is the link to my website’s donations page.  It’s very simple, all you have to do is fill in the blanks and please know that every cent will be used to fund my campaign.

Of course I want you all to know my stance on this race so please explore the website and if you have any questions I want you to reach out either here or on my Facebook Page.

Again, I can’t thank you enough and please know that every donation will be used to make sure Potter County starts to move back in the right direction.

Good Wednesday Everybody….

Winds of Change

With everyday that goes by, the reality of just how far Potter County has fallen deeper and deeper into debt, does not settle well with me.  Don’t get me wrong, I encourage growth and enjoy seeing cranes in downtown Amarillo.  What I do not support is how Potter County Commissioners have decided to use Our Tax Money without Our say.  I say “Our” because I live in Potter County.  Scott Brumley supports these decisions and that’s why I want him gone.

Brumleys job is inform the Commission of their options.  Smart Options.  Whether he likes to admit it or not Scott Brumley is OUR ATTORNEY… POTTER COUNTYS ATTORNEY is supposed to help save money and make SMART DECISIONS.  You can’t just lay down… and stay quiet and that’s what he’s been doing.

Please use your vote… don’t waste it.

Tuesday is pretty much in the books… and so I’ll finish my rant.

Tomorrow is another day… another blog post.

Back to Reality

Either way you look at it, you can’t help being happy for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.  It wasn’t the best game I’ve ever seen but it’s always a great time getting together with family and friends.

Unfortunately, it’s back to reality. Early Voting is in 8 days. In the meantime, Potter County Commissioners with the support of Scott Brumley are continuing to make critical decisions that are costing us taxpayers millions.

I Live and Pay Taxes in Potter County and it pains me to see just how far things have gone. Please keep this in mind as you cast your ballot and if you’re not registered to vote please do it. It’s a privilege we have as Americans and we need to make sure our vote counts.

Good Monday Afternoon and Evening to Everybody,

Len Walker

Thursday: 2016 NAACP Candidate Forum

I will never back down from facing my opponent.  Tonight Scott Brumley and I shared the stage and fielded several questions from some very concerned citizens.  It truly makes me happy to see taxpayers turn out for these forums.

Everyday we inch closer and closer to Election Day and believe me you I can feel it.  As we move forward I want everybody to know that I don’t take any of this lightly and I means a lot to me to feel the support of everyone who’s shared their stories with me or simply shook my hand.

Good Night Potter County… time to catch some zzzz’s.

Tuesday: Republican Meet and Greet Party

Before my family and I embarked on this journey we knew it would be a long road ahead.  Promising change and a new direction does not come overnight. But I believe you have to start somewhere and I’m ready to take the first step to make sure Potter County moves in the right Direction.

I’d like to thank everyone who made it out Tuesday night for the Republican Meet and Greet Party.  I believe I can steer Potter County back in the right Direction.
